Why We Built It

We Made This For People Who Don't Get To Sit Down.

Most knee products are designed for someone recovering on a couch. We built ours for the person who still has four hours left on the floor.

The Kneutra wrap — freeze it or warm it, then strap it on and keep moving.

There's a moment somewhere around hour six that anyone who works on their feet knows exactly. Your knees stop being background noise and start being the main thing you're thinking about.

You're not injured. Nothing happened. You've just been standing, walking, pivoting, crouching and climbing since before it got light, and now your knees are keeping score.

And here's the part that makes it different from every other kind of sore: you can't stop. There's no sitting down for twenty minutes with an ice pack. There's a floor to cover, a shift to finish, and three more hours on the clock.

So you shift your weight. Lean on things when nobody's looking. Take the stairs a bit slower. And you tell yourself you'll deal with it when you get home.

Then you get home, and you don't deal with it

After a long shift on your feet

Because by the time you're through the door there's dinner, and the dog, and everything else that didn't happen while you were at work. The knees go to the back of the queue again.

Maybe you get a bag of frozen peas out. Sit down with it for ten minutes. It slides off the second you shift, so you hold it there with one hand — and now you're pinned to the chair holding a bag of vegetables while everything else waits.

That's the routine we kept hearing about. Not from athletes. From nurses, teachers, warehouse staff, hairdressers, chefs, retail managers, sparkies and joiners. People in their forties and fifties who are on their feet all day and have simply accepted that the last two hours are going to be rough.

Everything on the shelf was built for someone else

Look at what's actually available and you'll notice something. It's all designed around the idea that you're resting.

Gel packs assume you're going to sit still holding them. Heat pads need a microwave and a spare twenty minutes. Creams mean greasy hands and a smell that follows you around — not ideal if you're about to serve food, handle stock or shake somebody's hand. And most of them are single-purpose: cold only, or warm only, so you end up owning two or three different things.

None of it fits a person who has to keep moving.

So we built it around three things

One — it has to stay on by itself. This was the whole point. The wrap goes 360° around the knee and fastens shut. Once it's on, your hands are free. You can stand up, walk to the kitchen, put the washing on, see to the kids. The comfort comes with you instead of pinning you to a chair.

Two — it has to do both. Some days you want cool, because you've been on your feet since six and your knees feel overworked. Other days you want warmth, because you've stiffened up in the van or sat through a long drive home. Same wrap, both ways. Freeze the gel insert, or warm it. You're not buying two products and guessing which one to reach for.

Three — it has to be discreet enough to wear. It's slim. It sits under work trousers, uniform, scrubs or jeans without anyone noticing. That matters more than we expected — a lot of people don't want to look like they're struggling at work.

How people actually use it

1

It lives in the freezer door

Comes with its own storage bag, so it sits in the door ready to go. No prep, no setup, nothing to remember before your shift.

2

Ten minutes when you get in

Strap it on before you start dinner, not after everything's done. Cool for that overworked feeling, or warmed if you've gone stiff on the drive.

3

Then get on with your evening

Hands free the whole time. It goes back in the bag when you're done, ready for tomorrow. Reusable — nothing to replace, nothing to restock.

The questions we get most

"Will it stay on if I'm actually moving around?" That's the one thing it's built to do. It wraps all the way around and fastens, rather than sitting on top of the knee like a flat pack. You can walk, climb stairs, crouch and stand back up with it on.

"Can I wear it at work?" Plenty of people do. It's slim enough to sit under trousers, scrubs or a uniform without being obvious. Worth checking your own workplace policy if you're in a role with kit requirements.

"Is it reusable or am I buying these every month?" Reusable. The gel insert freezes and warms over and over. That's the main reason people switch off creams — no repeat purchase.

"Cold or warm — which should I use?" Whichever suits the day. Cool tends to suit that overworked, been-on-my-feet-since-six feeling. Warmth tends to suit stiffness after sitting or driving. Having both in one wrap means you don't have to commit.

"What if it doesn't work for me?" Thirty days. Use it, and if it hasn't earned a place in your evening, send it back.

What customers say

★★★★★

After long shifts on my feet, my knees used to feel worn out by the time I got home. I keep this in the freezer and use it for about 10–15 minutes after work. It actually stays on, which makes a big difference.

I tried regular ice packs before but they always slid off unless I held them there. This wraps around my knee and lets me move around the house while using it. Much easier for everyday use.

★★★★★

I like that I can use it cold after being on my feet all day, or warm when my knees feel stiff. It feels way more practical than keeping separate ice packs and heating pads around.
